We collect non-public personal information about you that is provided to us by you or obtained by us with your authorization.  We use that information to provide accounting services or prepare your income tax return at your request.  

Parties to Whom We Disclose Information

For current and former clients, we do not disclose any non-public personal information obtained except as required or permitted by law:

a. To comply with a validly issued and enforceable subpeona or summons

b. In the course of a review of the firm’s practices under authorization of a state or           national licensing board

c. As a part of actual or threatened legal proceeding

d. As part of a fraud investigation

We may share non-public personal information with our affiliates to assist in providing our services to you.  (For example, tax preparation software vendors use your information to electronically file your tax return.)  Such affiliates are legally and contractually bound to maintain the privacy of any information shared with them.  We do not share non-public personal information with unaffiliated third parties without your express consent (except as described above).

Protecting the Confidentiality and Security of Client Information

We retain records relating to the professional services that we provide in order to comply with legal requirements and  professional guidelines.  In order to guard your non-public personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards.  We will not make public or intentionally disclose any confidential client information to any third party without first receiving authorization from you.
